Advancing Bird Conservation Across the Americas
August 25 – August 28, 2013
Snowbird, Utah
Presentations & Posters
Participants are invited to contribute to the content of the meeting by presenting a poster on any aspect of bird conservation, including research, monitoring, implementation, policy, planning, or outreach, education, and communications.

Posters will be presented on two nights: Monday, August 26th and Tuesday August 27th. A different set of posters will be displayed each night. Posters will be primarily in the traditional 4’ x 4’ board format (boards provided), but we also will entertain proposals for several non-traditional, interactive presentations (e.g., with computer, screen, and/or monitor on a table). The two evening sessions will be organized spatially in the rooms by topic, focused around those that correspond with the geographic focal area work sessions or other aspects of avian full life-cycle conservation.

To apply for a place on the poster program, please submit an abstract to be received no later than June 21, 2013. Abstracts received after that date will be subject to limitations in space and may not be accepted. Abstracts, and poster presentations, may be in English or Spanish.

Contributions will be organized into sessions based on the content of the abstract. The abstract should be no more than 250 words and should follow the format in the template below, which shows how to handle multi-authored papers. Use an asterisk to indicate the author who will give the presentation. Presenters will be expected to stand at their posters for two hours during their designated evening poster session.
